Kiddo does not always get what she wants (we make it a point that she doesn’t……for good reasons) but we do what we can as parents to provide for her. While she’s not growing up with loads of brand-new-off-the-shelf playthings, I hope she has just as much fun with pre-loved stuff and *fingers-crossed* she’ll grow up remembering those odd-looking daddy-made ones too.
