I remember that my grandma would make these from scratch, in marble-sized balls of yellow, white and pink and served in gingery syrup\/soup. These were also used as offerings to the gods on this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nowadays, treats like these can be easily purchased year round from supermarkets and Kiddo loves those with the peanut paste filling.
