She&#8217;s ever so cautious and needs much reassurance and encouragement to shore up her confidence (though on the plus side she tends to be very observant about her environment and developed a sense of empathy quite early on). To this day, it still takes a fair bit of effort to get her to go onto the slide. While it can be exasperating at times, I&#8217;ve to remind myself that no challenge is too small for a kid her age and every step is a milestone to be conquered with an pinch of courage and an ounce of imagination. Guess we&#8217;ll keep that as part of the new year&#8217;s resolution!
