Kiddo has never been a brash little one. She’s ever so cautious and needs much reassurance and encouragement to shore up her confidence (though on the plus side she tends to be very observant about her environment and developed a sense of empathy quite early on). To this day, it still takes a fair bit of effort to get her to go onto the slide. While it can be exasperating at times, I’ve to remind myself that no challenge is too small for a kid her age and every step is a milestone to be conquered with an pinch of courage and an ounce of imagination. Guess we’ll keep that as part of the new year’s resolution! Happy New Year folks!
